LVMWD has participated in the
annual poster contest in honor of Water Awareness Month
since the early 1990s. Past poster finalists are proudly
displayed throughout our headquarter offices, all expressing
wise water use and conservation issues.
In addition, each of LVMWD's ten
finalist posters is submitted to Metropolitan Water District
(MWD) for another round of competition. Those selected
at this level will be included in MWD's annual Water Awareness
Calendar, as the monthly feature or honorable mentions.
LVMWD is very proud to have had local students included
in MWD's calendars in the past.
