LVMWD has participated in the annual poster contest in honor of Water Awareness since the early 1990s. Past poster finalists are proudly displayed throughout our headquarter offices, all expressing wise water use and conservation issues.

In addition, LVMWD's top 12 finalist posters are submitted to Metropolitan Water District (MWD) for another round of competition. Those selected at this level will be included in MWD's annual Water Awareness Contest. LVMWD is very proud to have had local students included in MWD's calendars in the past.
