"There’s no way I could have used all that water!"

Summertime water use can creep up unexpectedly – with added irrigation, more people home, more wash loads (both clothes and dishes), and more frequent showering. It all adds up.

The good news is there’s nearly always ways to cut back, to save water and money. LVMWD can help with a Home Water Use Survey. Our experienced conservation staff will schedule a visit to your home. They will take a look at how water is being used and suggest simple efficiencies. They’ll check for toilet leaks, look at your irrigation timing, see if your landscape is being properly watered, and generally examine your household water-use practices.

Most customers are able to reduce water use after a survey. The service is FREE to district customers. All you need to do is make a phone call with your water service account number handy, and schedule a time when someone will be at home.

If you are interested in determining how your water is being used and how you can use it more efficiently, contact us at 818.251.2200.
