With help from their high school career counselors, the District pairs students with staff members whose job duties are most closely aligned with their areas of interest. Students then spend up to four months visiting with mentors, learning about their job functions, touring facilities, and seeing all that's involved in our drinking water and wastewater operations.

Our mentorship program not only provides students a behind-the-scenes look at the water district, but it also exposes them to a wide range of water industry careers they may have never thought to consider.

If your high school would like to participate in this program, contact Tiffany Wright at (818) 251-2143 or twright@LVMWD.com. Participating high schools must be located within the LVMWD or Triunfo Sanitation District service area.
