Rancho Las Virgenes Community Compost

Rancho Las Virgenes (RLV) Community Compost is a blend of dewatered, Class A, Exceptional Quality biosolids and recycled woodchips. Its excellent organic soil conditioning properties aid water retention in light soils and it helps to break up and aerate heavier soils, so less watering is needed. RLV Community Compost contains both readily available and long-term, slow release nutrients for greener plants. Our RLV Community Compost is comparable to the garden amendments sold at local stores.

At Las Virgenes Rancho Composting Facility, RLV Community Compost is available FREE OF CHARGE to anyone who wants to come and load it themselves.

  • When: Every Saturday, from 8am to 1pm (except holidays)
  • Where: Rancho Las Virgenes, at the crossroads of Las Virgenes Road and Lost Hills Road in Calabasas
